We spent the mornings at the dog beach and dog park this weekend. Had a great time as usual. Enjoy the photos.
On Feb. 1, 2014, we went to Woofstock in Sunrise, Fla. It was very hot and muddy, but we all had a great time.
Dogs from AirK9z preformed for an excited crowd. Amazing dogs…
There was also a costume contest. In a very close vote, Shredder won over Feelin’ Groovy.
Pixel and WeeGee enjoyed the day out, especially the mud!
Of course, I saw some birds.
Today we had a couple of very special visitors to dog beach. Julie and her husband Rick were visiting from Minnesota. They have Pixel’s real mother, Georgi. Georgi gave me one of the best gifts of my life and I am so very grateful that she is getting the life she deserves with Julie and Rick. Pixel and Georgi are so much alike. Unfortunately, Georgi (or her brother Gunnar) wasn’t able to make it to Florida this time. I can’t wait for the chance for them to meet each other again.
Pixel was a bit of her shy self, but she warmed up to them very quickly. They knew how to make her feel comfortable.
We like this guy. Can he stay?
Just for fun, here are some old photos. Notice Pixel front and center at the milk bar? Georgi was a great mom, always making sure everyone got fed and counting the puppies. She knew where each one was at all times, but let us all hold them.
This is the photo that made me fall in love with Pixel. I kept looking at it after I got back home.
